I thought I'd really test the Glade wax warmer to see how much wax it could handle. I used a modest number of scented tea lights with the outer case and wick removed. It certainly produces a strong aroma that lasts a long time.
I tested the wax temperature with a thermocouple and also checked the temperature on the units base after running it in excess of 14 hours. It's quite acceptable despite using a fixed resistor as a heater. It seems to be quite well thermally balanced.

Nothing exploded. Very disappoint.
Hi Clive
do you think these wax melters Glade and Airwick ones would melt the old drips and scraps off my hot glue gun ??the price they charge for the actual " HOT GLUE POT " is ridiculous and comes via the USA ….try googling them and see what l mean …….it would certainly save DIYers a few bob as we could have a glue pot but use Hot Glue stick off cuts etc….thanx……..l find your videos fascinating thanx for all your hard work
the most bigclivey title ever "with far too much wax." 😛
19 degrees is so effin freezing man, like I wear my hoodie on 22 degrees.
no sound in chrome, i switch to another random video using youtube still on chome and it works fine. this video works fine in firefox, but not in chrome, for me.
but then i literally watch all my other videos in chrome and it works fine. funky codec or sound encoding issue ?
The "random work video" Published on Jul 29, 2016 works fine in chrome. Maybe about the last week sound has been spotty. It's rather odd. I know at least the video refresh rate differs in chrome, so maybe they render it different ?
wax your ass on camera at 100,000 subs pls
And you can toss that on the revolting peasants when they attack your castle with pitchforks!
I am amused by comments that 19°C is not warm – what they don't know is that that is the indoor temperature which would be comfortable for a British house. I wonder what it was outside considering it was midnight?
19 degrees warm! That's a cool winters day here!
19 degrees warm ? thats a winters day here in aus lol
next: use it to melt chocolate and combine it with a candy-floss machine?
