What better way to treat hay fever than to jam two red LEDs up your nose. I'll let you guys decide if you think this works.
I've included a DIY version too that can also double up as a USB power-bank powered Halloween effect.
Note that I do not condone sticking LEDs up your orifices.
If you enjoy these videos you can help support the channel with a dollar for coffee, cookies and random gadgets for disassembly at:-

Well that was a treat. Classic Clive making stuff and I haven't seen it before. 👍🏻

It's probably cheaper to use the ubiquitous 8-pin microcontroller, than a 555-timer-circuit.

I'm pretty sure there's still no credible research confirming this kind of therapy works, to this day.
As spooky eyes they are definitely much better!

I've seen the UV nose blasting machines used for medical purposes, but I've never heard of these red ones. Can't say I'm ever convinced, you know. ;D

I'm not familiar with that product, but it does work if it is 660nm.

I have a black light pen (395nm), and a brand name red therapy LED bulb (660nm).

And they do work. It sounds insane to hear that "light heals", but it is NCBI PubMed researched clinical data.

I had a nasty ear infection (swimmer's ear infection) that I killed, and treated in less than a week; I shone the 395nm light inside my ear cannal to kill the bacteria, and pathogens for less than a minute.

After that, I proceeded to shine the 660nm bulb right next to my ear for 10 minutes to reduce inflammation, accelerate tissue and cell healing.

Thus being said, my ear infection lasted for about 4 days (swelling), and on the 7 day all of the puss was draining out.

At first I was skeptical if it is an quackery device but I was surprised it helped not even me, maybe a good working placebo effect but hey, it helps (me) completely harmful

I'd have thought that the 'mystery chip' (the little uController) would have been from Padauk since these are below US$0.05 each (5000 qty)
However, all of the 8 pin Padauk chips seem to have ground on pin 8 and the one you have there looks to have VCC on pin 8
The cheapest one I could find with VCC on pin 8 is an ATTINY which costs more than 20 TIMES as much!

Been using nasal rinse for years for a deviated septum and my nose is worse than ever. Feels like someone's burning thumb is stuck in the middle of my nose. I had to buy this thing, hope it helps even a little.

when checking resistance you not supposed to let the probes to touch the skin

another scam to thin your pocket from hard earned money.

I was thinking the same thing, the apparatus is just for power and the led for nasal is the only thing that we need, I don't have any idea about "resistors", my question is: can I just connect it on a standard cable phone charger like the one you used so that I won't have to buy 9 volt batteries which quite a hassle? thank you for this video…
