I got these lights because they are an interesting style of LED with the usual concave lens, but diffused. Sadly, they use polarity switching to "chase" the LEDs. And this makes it hard to bypass.
One moment please…

You are a hero ! We tried everything to stop our lights flashing. My wife and I have splitting migranes and the cat has left home. 7 times on the button seems to work on all these types of lights.
That's annoying!
This is what's ending the 4 channel versions and I hate it because it's making it harder to find 4 channel sets to replace the bad ones on my rare controllers
the negative spot overload and positive pre charge control box is a safety feature that is most commonly used on higher voltage applications and should be considered unneeded for low wattage high amp systems.
Hi i love your voice, you would have a brilliant voice for tv and radio. X
can you shorten the 8-mode 2-wire lights?
I agree absolutely infuriating. I used to have one with small wheel on which stayed on whatever you left it on . No faffing about
Can this light be done so that it does not flash, just the mode off and on
I have one 5V supply with just 2 cables to a controller and 2 out to the LEDs. The controller is broken and if i connect both cables through only exactly every 2nd led lights. What to do to simply make all light? Anyone?
Hi BigClive, i read the instructions on your page for stopping the flashing, but I'm curious about the piece at the bottom (where there could have been a fire). The language is a bit technical for me, but are you basically saying that the string itself might overload, even if I replace the controller with a bridge rectifier? Thanks in advance!
