I don't know if it was intentional, but the light being turned around does give access to the charging port. So it's got that going for it. Which is nice.
Back when I was 12 in 2002, I bought a USB LED keyboard light (yes, they were very new, but white USB LED lights did exist). This was back when all laptops had ports coming out the back. I have ancient digital pictures I took of my Compaq keyboard lit by it.
Clive would you like to film repairing my usb condensing microphone? How much would you charge for repair please? the problem is keeps cutting out and looks like bad wiring on the mic pcb board but I could be wrong. Message me if interested
i bought a few of those LEDs a while ago… i bought them as emergency lights for my powerbanks. using two of those at the same time with my 3-port Power Bank you really get quite some light
Well, with that 300 mA current passing it's at least compliant to USB specification and won't turn off any sane USB host device;) I hate the new trend of putting things like 7V 1A via USB socket and calling it 'speed charging' or something like that.

It's off-center. That pisses me off.
Declive I bought one of these and it's a nice light. However I think it really lacks a switch.
Clive Can you read Chinese yet? ๐
That would look stunning in an antique brass case. Think I'll have to buy a couple and turn up some new brass cases for them ๐

I found them on eBay for $.99 to about $1.79 from Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines, not China!
I need to do more shopping on eBay from China.
