It's a while since I've bought something like this, so I ordered one to see how things have changed. It's a simple vehicle light complete with a bracket that allows you to attach a rustable bracket onto your paintwork by perforating it with rustable screws and flimsy wires.
The unit does actually fit its rating of 1W at 12V, although most of that is heat. The fixture and bracket are very hackable though, and could be adapted and repurposed for other tasks like a positionable low current reading or work light.
If you enjoy these videos you can help support the channel with a dollar for coffee, cookies and random gadgets for disassembly at:-

This also keeps the channel independent of YouTube's advertising algorithms allowing it to be a bit more dangerous and naughty.

I think they are clearance lights that go on top of the cab of the truck.

You could easily fit a LM317 and a resistor as a CC in the plastic housing (using the metal housing as heat sink if necessary)

I would love clive to do a modification on a head torch by using my old trail camera that has infrared LEDs and modifying to make them work with a head torch

Clive, even though its rated for a 12v system, cars actually operate at between 13.6 and 14.5 volts during normal operation…

I can't believe I just watched the entire 4 minute ad for you. In the YouTube world that must mean I have feelings for you. Imagine yourself a nice soft and subtle tiger growl inserted here.

Hey big Clive I've got an interesting one for you. When my led toruch went flat it seemed to recharge it's when I was welding would this be from the uv rays or induction from the welder.

For the record, ”xiao”, pronounced ”seeao”, with open A like in ”pizza” and the starting S just a bit ”sh”, means ”little”.

If you see a chinese restaurant named ”Xiao Long” it means ”little dragon”.
Or Xiaomi, literally ”little rice”, or millet.

So ”little little mandy” makes some sense.
You know, chineses, specially in the south, aren't famous for being massive …

Hey Clive you may have noticed you are getting a lot of views of the flaming doll video. Someone shared it on the dad jokes Australia Facebook page. Lots of giggles are being had.

Why not just use a potentiometer inline to adjust the brightness as you wish like the dash and dome lights of the automobile.

That name for the LED was almost like the tag titles that went and probably still go around on YouTube
