This is just a fixed-camera video showing the Luminara outdoor LED candle and the Premier dancing flame candle side by side.
The Luminara is the rich golden white one on the right and the Premier is the noisy bright white one on the left with its flame clicking about loudly.

definitely late to the party but how does the flame continue to flicker? a magnet?

I’m super late to this party, but I really appreciated this comparison video! I tried to go back on your channel to find the rest of the series (specifically to see the tear down of one of these units) but for some reason, I can’t go back further than 5 years on your channel. Can you link me here if you see this notification? Thank you for putting this up!

Please consider doing an underexposed version so the flame is less blown out. The human eye can see more contrast than most video cameras

How is this useful. How is it a comparison? To indication of which is which. No description. Nothing. It's more of a video test shot.

I've been researching creating my own LED candle installation for the home (lots of small candles in smaller votive sized frosted glass holders), powered by a single arduino, but have been dissatisfied by the lack of movement in standard LED candles. These both look amazing and are exactly what I wanted to invent.

Any idea how the servo mechanism works? And the little flame, what's that made of?
