I was wondering what would happen if two QI chargers were pressed face to face with one powered and the other not. The active unit pulsed because it was not getting a response from a receiver, but the pulses were picked up by the inactive transmitter and made its indicator LED blink. It didn't do any harm to either unit.
"It had to be done…" Don't anybody loan Clive a nuclear weapon!
Wow, awesome Clive 🙂
Had to be watched to be believed…I foretell wonders anew soon
What would happen if you set your phone on the QI charger and plugged the phone into a USB charger?
Moar Qi charging shenanigans please.
Hi Clive, what's the little meter in the USB power bank? Cheers.
I really like inductive charging, though I thought it ironic that my first ever inductive charging device was an electric toothbrush and not some lofty device…you know like the ones we use for crushing candy and porn.
Qi is pronounced like 'chi'…
There is a shutoff in the Qi protocol to detect this sort of thing I think. It may fall under the "Qi foreign Object Detection"
Clive, do you think these would charge a Moto 360 watch?
what would happen if you had two powered chargers sandwiching a receiver?
Like when you google "google", the universe implodes
