This video involves my attempt to work out the wiring of an old Asahi Seiko coin payout hopper mechanism as used in gaming equipment. The manufacturers website does not have a datasheet for it, and it appears to have been superseded by a newer variant.

That's one speedy and efficient machine.

notice the link means that if you installed the connector upside down you'd short out 24v to gnd
cool… we use almost the same hopper in some of our games at the arcade.
Of course, ours are setup for US quarters, and have a different manufacturer name on them… but otherwise quite the same.
"What's this screw for"
Severe flash backs to when I worked as an arcade tech and would take apart coin hoppers for cleaning.
Finding data sheets on anything gaming oriented is tricky in my experience.
Not sure what it is like there, but it is so heavily regulated here that special licensing is needed just to even legally purchase parts from gaming machines
i would just wire directly to the motor lol
You make me want to buy so many things that I have no immediate use for.
