This is an LED strobe set I added onto an ebay order. It has two rather nice aluminium assemblies with an LED in each and a small driver module that appears to be based on a PIC12 style anonymous chip.

I bought these before starting to tinker and seeing this channel…what ohm value is the appropriate one too not be driving these at 900-1000? …n would it be ok to leave the board out of the enclosure and hot glue it front n back for protection SO I can mount it in a small space on the motorcycle? . .or is that a bad idea? …thanks y'all!

I used to travel to China and Hong Kong, and as it turned out there is a high import duty on processors in China, so the staff of the electronics manufacturer used to handcarry (Smuggle) them by train from Hong Kong to Shenzhen across the border. I always thought that was the main reason why they take the numbers off.
