Every year Poundland seem to introduce new seasonal LED lights, and this year is no exception. I'm taking a look at three different styles in this video and testing them for hackability for making up custom lights.

okay…that's NICE
Great videos, dig your work. I found you through research on an idea I have.
I want to hack 3 or 4 99¢ store solar garden lights apart, remove the dim LEDs, combine the pv cells and batteries, and solder in one ultra bright LED. I'm not sure if one pcb will handle the voltage, so I thought I would do a little research first so I don't waste $4.
I have yet to find any videos about this. Any ideas, Sir?
Thanks
poundland gets these for 25p each
You can always solder some paperclips onto the back of the butterflies and have some fancy beard decorations! 😀
a lot of inserting in this video. lol
I wonder if you should ask Poundland for some donations as you advertise their products so frequently. 🙂
Nice video. Thanks i learn a lot.
I'll never understand why I find LED's so fascinating, but I have done so for many years. I remember how exciting blue LED's were back in the day 🙂
OK, now for something outside your electronic zone, i challenge you to pick a padlock on video!
I wonder if yours is the only garden at night they can see from space!
Nice lights… But, "hacking" ?¿
