I got something very simlar for xmas, but I heard rattling inside so I wasn't about to risk turning it on. Took it apart to find my little "cement" rectangle thing isn't fastened down like yours is, it's loose.
There doesn't seem to be anything inside for it to be fastened to though either. But the "cement" block is also broken, straight up missing a chunk, and I can see there's what looks like a "fuse" inside the "cement" block. I don't have the knowledge to repair something like this, I just wanna know if it's still safe to use.
You sir are a scholar. Thank you for this video. All day Ive been trying to figure out what the warmer element was because I noticed mine also wasnt a ptc. Now I just need to find some where to buy one.
Twenty watts. That's what I needed to know—I bought some wax melts today for a Halloween project and am planning to build my own warmer for them. It was only once I'd tried searching for "glade wax melter specs" etc. that I remembered you'd done this video. Thanks Big Clive!
I just purchased this product very pleased with it. the only downside is there is no on/off switch. and most my sockets are in awkward places. however overall it is well put together, looks good, smells great and good value so it gets the thumbs up 👍👍
Thanks for the video its very interesting to see inside. Although I would love to see you compare it to a scentsy warmer especially with the melting factor. As those warmers can get mighty hot. I haven't actually tried but apparently you can fry an egg. Where scentsy is just warming. I wouldn't know what I was looking at if I open a scentsy warmer up lol
That’s why mine not warming properly

"Up yours glade" … how dare I make advertising revenue off the back of your brand name ! ! ! !
Whatever are you supposed to use those things for? What does one do with a pot of molten wax exactly?
Up yours Glade.
