A look at the slightly different LED spider lights from Poundland this Haloween.
I'm not sure how Poundland seems to get such interesting LEDs, but these green gallium nitride side emitting LEDs will still emit light right down to about 2V.
This makes them perfect for use with rechargeable NiMh cells, as they will stay lit for the full discharge of the cell. And that is a LONG time.

A really scary & spooky Halloween for BigClive would be him going to Poundland and not being able to find any LED lights. 🙂 Or coming home to find someone broke into his house and only took all his lights. 🙂
Love it
I found those here at a Walmart in Colorado, labeled as CHRISTMAS lights!
Another Poundland LED lighting aficionado. Sadly, I missed out on their Halloween stuff, but have stocked up on some of the 2015 Xmas ones 🙂
These look really good. I'm going to get some. Their USB Xmas ones are good too.
I've been very impressed with Poundland's LEDs! I've been using the white ones with a 4017b decade counter circuit and it'll quite happily drive at least four LEDs via a suitable resistor.
brand new alkaline batteries range from 1.6 so a new set will be around 3.2v but lithum AA cells start out around 1.8, well the energizers I use anyways.
Well, they're not quite the "creamy shit" christmas lights, but I guess they'll do… 😛
spoopy.
I like these. Very sp00ky indeed. Lol
Cheers
