Having stumbled across these things on the Internet from time to time I decided to buy one and see what it was like. A bit of research shows that these things have quite a following. Time for a taste test!
Here's Crazy Russian Hackers enthusiastic review of the same pack:-

I may actually try some other packs in the future. That one was quite fun to explore and eat.

Did the bag really need “do not eat” in bold lettering? How hungry do these soldiers get?
When is the next MRE video coming?
Famous last works from clive – **What could go wrong?** as it starts to smoke
Rancid fats are not good for you and I could never consider food packaged in the 50's to be still edible.
the food label – read it before you eat it!
I think most if not all labels included english so you could have read them.
i am gessing it is calcium oxide?
You know you need your coffee when you read that as lesbian at 6am 🤦😂
I like the coffee mug!🤣
This strange orange drink is also available in the German MRE. I find the taste quite "chemical". In any case, it won't be my favourite drink. We also have such biscuits in our MRE. There are rumours that you can use them to repair defective armour.😉
"A plate for heating" Clive: This is a tray kinda weird tray. lol
Here in the states we call them iced tea spoons
We get cases of MREs just about every year when a hurricane shuts off our electricity and water for weeks at a time. Maybe it's just because we get them so often, but I kind of like them. Simple, easy to prepare, and with a decent amount of variety. Still got a few cases from last year. Saving them for the zombie apocalypse…
I am disappointed in the lack of a rock or something to lean it on.
