Happy new year 2018. Me and my brother Ralfy decided to celebrate it by eating a Russian military MRE (Meal Ready to Eat).
Ralfy's channel is at:- https://www.youtube.com/user/ralfystuff
If you enjoy these videos you can help support the channel with a dollar for coffee, cookies and random gadgets for disassembly at:-

This also keeps the channel independent of YouTube's advertising algorithms allowing it to be a bit more dangerous and naughty.

simply 'nice' and there isn't enough nice in the world.
In the UK in the 80s, my favourite was tinned salmon with peas and mashed potatoes. Looked icky but tasted great.
The recipes changed over the years and one change (to save money?) was drop the salmon and issue pilchards!
The best compo I had was at Troodos in January of 1992. We got snowed in so went onto 24 hour shifts for several weeks and we had a full-time RAF chef with us. He made three course meals from compo and they were brilliant.
One of the items that has persisted over the years is Biscuits Brown – the sole purpose of which is to bung you up. I think it’s the same thing as hard tack which has been around for centuries.
Just found this and still laughing …. you guys are great
Grits are amazing when made correctly 🙂 SE USA for 60 years now
There is a very odd dynamic with these two together. They're sat at the same table but basically ignoring what each other is saying.
love you both, cheers
Feel ashamed that i never knew you were brothers, yet have followed both of you individually for a while. Could listen to you both for hours.
Isn't Vodka made of potatoes? 🤔
Someone has probably corrected you on this already, but:
Grits isn't ground meat. Grits, in the American parlance, is ground up corn-meal. It can be used as a breakfast like if were cereal, though we wouldn't call it cereal. That use is less common; it's more often, in my experience, used as a side dish at lunch or dinnertime. Source: am American, have eaten grits.
How your brother can exclaim he's not a greedy pig after he's been progressively pull all the food items towards him self over the course of the video while you have been running around trying to prepare stuff is an amazing thing to watch lol.
I love that it's so cold inside that you can Clive & Ralfy's breath when they get eating lol
Ralfy, dear fella, that's not how you pour a Russian vodka to go with Russian food…
Life during wartime
After watching many electrical engineering videos, now Russian MRe's.
Very informative. Not sure I would consume Russian food. Last MRE'S I ate were Yankee MRE' in Cyborg Russia , the containers were thrown in the park with vodka bottles.
Thanks for the video!
