I'm not sure this device would help you meditate at all. It's clear that they've gone for quantity over quality of music and chant samples, even with the decent, but small speaker inside. The sound is a bit harsh and the loops are far from seamless. The build quality seems really good though.
If you like the idea of something screaming chants at you then you can get them on eBay:-

If you enjoy these videos you can help support the channel with a dollar for coffee, cookies and random gadgets for disassembly at:-

This also keeps the channel independent of YouTube's advertising algorithms allowing it to be a bit more dangerous and naughty.

placing stuff in the ground whos purpose is to just make noise when you are not even around is revolting, think if you wanna sleep and your neighbor got this shit in his backyard.

The logo on the 16-pin chip looks eerily like the logo for Generalplus, a Taiwanese company that specialises in microcontrollers and voice/music chips for various electronics like toys and plug & play TV games.

It’s probably not an MP3 player since DCT based compression is computationally expensive and that would be kind of overkill. A lot of these cheap talking/singing toy things use linear PCM at telephone quality which is 8kHz sampling rate at 8 bits per sample. Since the bit rate for that only works out to 64 kbit/s, you can store a little over four minutes of audio on a 2MB memory, and decoding can be done in software on any general purpose microcontroller with a built in 8 bit DAC. The raw PCM is usually just combined into a block and written to the memory, and pressing the track button just skips to a different memory address.

I think a remote control, place a half dozen of these hidden in the garden. Pop the remote when the neighbors walk by.

I found this flower attached to a tree while on a hike this weekend. It scared the bejeeberzs out of me when I heard the digitized Chinese voice in the middle of the woods. It was in a very lovely place. Thank you for this video! I figured it was a prayer.
