I'm not sure why the Chinese sellers like to post pictures that represent their products bursting into flames. Another seller posted a picture of this style of heater being dangled into a bonfire. Presumably to imply fire resistance.
This could be a useful donor unit for the conveniently sized PTC heater block with mountings for a standard computer style fan. The case is quite nice too and breaks down into six parts.
If you enjoy these videos you can help support the channel with a dollar for coffee, cookies and random gadgets for disassembly at:-

This also keeps the channel independent of YouTube's advertising algorithms allowing it to be a bit more dangerous and naughty.

The efficiency ones should be like that: heating element resistor should be connected in to a capacitive drop and not directly in mains with alot capacitors like an inverter mode heater
Question, would putting an NTC In rush limiter in place dampen the spike of current at power up
Hilarious! Couldn’t have done that better even if you tried! It just literally fell into bits hahahahaha.
Hmm, how do the latest generation of Wonder Heaters compare? They are now advertised everywhere as 'virtually free heat', instant heat, super fast heat high efficiency low power, uses unique ceramic heater element technology – so clever no information is given out, makes use of Bernoulli's conservation of Energy for super efficiency, UK adapter included !…. Is it just the same as one of these, but with an LCD and made cheaper?
I genuinely wonder how many (if any) psychopaths use these in China or other bordering South East Asian countrys for Arson. It's a bit of a worry-
Nice to know that the fan seems to keep working when it fails at temperature
YEAh
'I wan' flames!, I want them now!'
It really is a dodgy circuit.
The good thing about condenser shocks are that by the time you realise you have had a shock, it’s over!
I had scores of them as apprentice TV engineer in the 60’s, when I complained, the engineers told me ‘it’s good for your heart’ 🤬
Clive, perhaps the thermal fuse is ‘flame activated’ 😱😱😱
"I got it because of the pictures of flames" – Made me laugh, good old Clive!…..
