This is a much shorter version of a teardown video on the JUGEE 1.5V AA lithium rechargeable cells. (The full version is 36 minutes long.)
These cells put out a consistent 1.5V for most of their discharge and can be charged rapidly and decisively in a dedicated charger.
Spec is 3000mWh
Equivalent AA cell 2000mAh
Maximum current 2A
Output voltage 1.5V switching to about 1V near end of charge.
If you enjoy these videos you can help support the channel with a dollar for coffee, cookies and random gadgets for disassembly at:-

This also keeps the channel independent of YouTube's advertising algorithms allowing it to be a bit more dangerous and naughty.

Short is good.
Hi,
You really should be using the little sanding drum instead of cutoff wheel, even if you go too deep most likely would remove material evenly enough it prevent shorting, good luck.
Do these only charge in the advised MILBEP compatible chargers? It's a little hard to find information online about what exactly MILBEP is. I have found the included charger to be very flimsy, I had to bend the charging connections to make proper contact with the bottom of the negative contact point.

Yeah yeah, everyone wants a pair jugees in their life.
You answered all of my questions but the big one!
What is the actual capacity of these cells?
Oh, wait, I watched the long version too. You did not show your test but said they were close to 2000mah!
Posting here to help those with short attention spans!
Too long; watched at 2x speed.
So the question is if you put this into a traditional smart charger will it detect it as nimh or lion
There are several brands of these things out there. Jugee is hard to get outside the US. Kentli seems more common.
I guess one disadvantage of these is the inability to tell their state of charge as the output will be constantly 1.5 v regardless.
I wish I could get Clive's help on a lil project I'm trying to work on…I want to make a small portable Induction Heater I wish I could solder on the positive and negative to a Power Geek 4000mah power bank as all the parts needed to make it run off are on the Board for the power bank…I wish I knew a lot more like Clive when it comes to electronics I did micro soldering and QC work but
Have you done a review of pale blue rechargeable batteries? If not, it would be really cool to know more about them before I might buy some.
Clive, we didn't get the update on the shimmering drinks? You did say to remind you ๐ ๐งก
