Methylated spirits (denatured alcohol) is deliberately made poisonous to discourage people from drinking it and thus denying the government their fat cut of duty. So how bad can they make it taste? Let's find out.

This is the man Mr. Yuck warned us about.
This video kind of made me want to try it more
We have methylated spirit here in Australia but some of it does not have the purple dye in it not sure about methanol/ethanol content. People drink it and it smells foul to me.
So just like Gin?
Just having a look through some of your back catalogue and this gave me a bit of a giggle, nearly as bad as ear wax.😂
You're scottish you drink it every day don't you?
Yet the colour makes it look so desirable! They should have made it look like shit. Problem solved. Miniature steam engine party anyone?
Idiot
Heard about this video from the moonshine one, lol
Most stuff in the UK has pyridine in it and it's realy toxic, it should not be sold or at least have a big skull and crossbones saying if you drink it you will die.
Bittering agent and ethanol with colour
Problem with the colour is when you use it for cleaning it can stain some stuff.
i came here from a comment on the carbonated moonshine video, why did he not have a bucket on hand?!
Big Clive
Big ideas
Big measure
Big regret
Big swearing
Big laughs🤭
Should be noted that methanol is toxic even by contact, you shouldnt breath it in or allow much to come in contact with skin even. Its a neurotoxin. Doing this once is really all you should ever do, or not at all if possible.
I have done this with 99% lab grade ethanol, and even that is almost painful, although it did have a slightly fruity aftertaste.
Haha I was never going to drink it anyways but now I won’t even be curious. Thank you for your service
