It's odd to think of LED Christmas lights as being "vintage", but I reckon this set can be described as that, since it's one of the very first full colour LED strings that I custom built (because they didn't exist yet.)

❤❤happy new year 2024
When did these first leds come out?
Hey Clive do you know anywhere that does real vintage colour LEDS at the moment? these RGB plus yellow leds i just got look AWEFULL, I need some real Christmas lights, can anyone help? 😥
The iridescent quality of the LED string is wonderful!
Personally I like the older style of lights because they look more cozy. The led-lights always has that narrow spectrum of light, especially the blue led's it looks horrible in my opinion.
Your contuct number plz
Hi Clive.
I bought a set of 50 Poundland fairy lights last year (£2) and put in required three AA cells. I used them, them put them away after Christmas, then got them out this year. They're the type with a three position switch – Off – On – Flash. There was enough juice in the cells to light up all the lights (red, yellow, green, and blue) and they stayed lit for a few nights until I noticed that only the blues and greens were on. I switched off then switched on again the following night when the blues finally gave up the ghost and I was left with a pleasant green glow. I left them switched on overnight and when I awoke they had (as I thought) finally drained the batteries. I did nothing about them and the following evening became aware of the greens being on again with no input from me. Since that evening for three nights until tonight they have, by the time I wake in the morning, gone off but miraculously during the evening turn on again with little sign of diminished light. I finally decided to take them down as it's well past 12th night but they were still glowing nicely. I deduce that LEDs at the blue/green end of the spectrum require less current than those at the red/yellow end but was the serendipitous on/off timing due to the Kodak Super Heavy Duty zinc batteries recuperating during the day and not down to some mysterious bit of 'magic' circuitry? I didn't touch the on/off switch for the last few days. Happy New Year. John P

Those of colors those who have control
You still have little balls
Those lights look so good, if anything they're still rather unique and interesting today given the pastel colours they give off rather than the bold rainbow you usually see.
nice job.
c-can i buy these from you..?
i love those bigclive there beautifull good job
2 questions I think everyone wants to know, maybe answer in the description: What year are we talking? and are the pastel colors just an effect from the camera or do single color LED's exist in those wavelengths?
