Uh-huh? I've never opened a real Riddex rodent repeller unit, but I find it highly doubtful that sending "digital pulses" through your mains wiring is likely to have any effect on creepie crawlies or four legged fluffy rodents at all. But nonetheless, let's take a look inside this suspiciously cheap unit from China to see if it's circuitry hints at any "digital pulsing" action. At the very least, it's a very nice case. I conclude this video by offering design improvements that could potentially save the manufacturers 2 cents and improve the units overall efficiency by 30%.

You really don't need that savvy demonstration. It actually misses the speaker for the ultrasounds (that would come where the round shape on the inside of the front panel is) and its respective circuit board. It's just a scam product. Cheers!
BU SAHTE İŞE YARAMAZ PİYASADA BU VE BUNA BENZER ÇOK SAHTE ÜRÜN VAR
This video came up in a search I did for Riddex. Back in the 90s, I bought two Riddex repellers from QVC. They both still work to this day. Thank you for exposing this imposter.
Is it also for mosquitos?
I had an ultrasonic rodent repeller about 10 years ago.
The device seemed to be doing something because I was getting headaches when I was in the room with it.
One day I was in with the device and I saw a mouse sitting on it. The mouse was not bothered by the ultrasonics in any way.
Perhaps this particular mouse was deaf? And I NEVER spotted any exodus of insects or arachnids either.
Question: would you rather get a sort of pcb laminate within a copper sheet on top or get one custom made by jlc pcb?
(I don't mind both)
I bought fake ones, but had real one to compare, they gave me a refund and said it was a factory error. They were empty, just plastic boxes.
I've often wondered if those things actually work.
Well it worked from the point of view of getting you to buy it and probably, for most gullible people, acts as a psychological placebo keeping away the imaginary beasties.
The description of the Riddex commercial was great! 😆
High possibility that you have a fake one, I opened mine and it looks totally different and with a more complex and elaborated circuit.
I won one like this from Amazon Giveaways back when they did those. It obviously doesn't do anything but it doesn't even have any LEDs either. I wonder if it's just an open circuit inside a plastic case, I should open it up some day.
Just another piece of 💩 device? I just got one today, it's the same🙆♂️… Should by instead a T-rex rat trap. 🤦♂️
How does this repel rodents/mice? Is it high frequency? Can't imagine how this works if you have separate wire runs in the house! They all terminate at the circuit breaker box! Would need a Riddex for each wire run! Have an old one plugged into my basement wall!
No proof it works!
