When it comes to USB rechargeable blenders you can make them so much simpler if you leave out all that safety stuff. For reasons that will become obvious in the video, I don't recommend these particular units at all.

but…will it blend ¿¿
This is fantastic! Instead of carrying both a blender and a spare phone battery around with me everywhere, I can just whip out my blender to recharge my phone.
Until now, I didn't have enough space to carry all the accessories with my stand mixer. When my friends asked if I could knead some bread dough or roll out some fettucine noodles between classes, I was "that unprepared guy."
Now if they could just build a PDF reader into the side of a toaster, I wouldn't need my textbooks either!
I figured it didn't have any safety features but I didn't realize how absolutely terrifying it was 😮😮😮
I need at least two of them though, for… research?
I have always hated the safety feature of blenders where they won't work of it isn't all screwed together. But seeing this, I realise how dangerous it could be without it!
That would make a nice present for a few people I know.
Chip no?
Water is the only thing that can easily get all the way into a USB port on the first try.
I used to have a coffee grinder with the button not connected to the lid in any way. Any time it had power it was capable of shredding your fingers. Except with the lid I guess but I wouldn’t put it past them to have plastic that just breaks when it feels like it.
That same logic software cost my wife £350 !!
Her EMU Ebike battery doesn't shut itself off like my Bosch one does.
We didn't realise this and the built in batt LED's stayed on and drained all the lithium cells to well below 2v beyond the point of charge recovery.
Really annoying!!!
What's worse. No safety mechanism or a safety mechanism that only works sometimes!
Purchased one similar to the pink unit which has a microswitch under the rubber seal requireing the vessel to be firmly screwed down onto the base to activate it.
Still a scarey unit as it has phenominal power for such a small device.
The container is glass and has a warning not to blend ice.
Despite what you say the green one is obvious the better one, I mean who hasn't wanted to charge their phone from their blender?
I've got a pink shit usb blender from China. Omg I can hear him singing it now.
