This is a project to create a simple but very attractive LED ornament based on a snowdrop flower. It runs on a 12V supply and uses less than a watt of power.
It appears I created this project around 2010, but because of various "things" I never managed to get round to putting it up as a project on my website despite getting a batch of PCBs made for it. In fact, I went one step further and managed to misplace the entire batch of PCBs. As such I've decided to just put the PCB file up as a free download on my website.
If you want to download the PCB file to make your own PCBs then you can do so on this page of my website here:-

If you enjoy the videos on this channel you can help support it with a dollar for coffee, cookies and LEDs at https://www.patreon.com/bigclive

Nice project!
Hi Clive c",) First off, thank you for your video's. These are so inspiring, it shows that you don't absolute need a certain brand of gear, you can get very far with less thus making me feel like, even i, have a chance ๐
You have indeed re-sparked my childhood interest for electronics! (so much so that my wife thinks i have more than enough led's.. Is that even possible??)
Cheers from Denmark
Thomas
Very cute and beautiful lights. Like you said it will be beautiful just lighting them at any corner of the room. Very nice.
Just bought the circuit board!
Can't wait to have a Bic Clive memorabilia!!
I think your priorities with your projects and food sounds perfectly correct to me! ๐
This is great! So simple and quick. My 15yo daughter is getting into some electronics. A couple of learner questions: How do you know which of the wires from the LEDs is the positive one? Also I see that you are soldering one side of the LEDs and one side of all the resisters before the other side. What's the reason for this? Thanks!
Just bought a box of random electronic components in it I found a bunch of these PCB's spotted the logo thought I know who that is I guess I will have to build them when I can get deliveries again.
Sir Hindi me.
re watching this again now on may 18 2019 & i realized you were talking about food /eating & working on projects and it reminded me how funny it is with all these people suddenly afraid of lead i used to make a sandwich or two and work on stuff picking up my sandwich with the same hand i just had that good old LEAD solder in , i am now 50 and still NOT dead from lead , anyhow i really like these build videos.
Very neat, I may try putting something like this together for Halloween which is right around the corner. It dawned on me, as I watched, I have this huge supply of wire ties, most of which are smaller then I normally use when working on my HAM radio sets. So it will be that I shall use them to tie up the bundles of wire. Sadly, I find that I have no brown wires but I think the black and green wires from the telephone cable I have stripped down should do nicely.
Do you mean plaiting, as in girls with hair plaited.
Another interesting project Iโm just catching up on, should be ready for next Spring… ๐
Cheers Clive, now about your PP requirement… ๐ค๐ค๐
