Not just Grundig, but probably many other brands too.
This is my first attempt to make a video while seriously under the weather, so hopefully it isn't oo bad.
In answer to the sleep question, my brain decided I would function better if I simply didn't get any sleep at all, followed by a brief psychedelic experience just before the alarm went off.
The sooner this bug passes the better!

I think sometimes you think you're getting better when you're not because you're just tired of being sick and want to move on

If you think that sleep pattern is grim try one where you are scared to go to sleep just in case you do not wake up again .
    That one is really scary

Have you ever woken up, got ready and set off for work, only to then wake up and realise, that you dreamt you woke up and set off for work?

Yep, get that feverish looped dream thing quite often when I've been struck down by something. It's intriguing but also terrifying at times.

I also looked at one of these (the unbranded version), made some electrical measurements and then did calculations. Here's my conclusion

To replenish the energy consumed by one minute of light it requires THREE HOURS of average British winter daylight charging time. This is because the solar panel is undersized. With summer daylight that would require less.

To fully recharge the battery with average winter sun it would require several months and device needs to be kept well away from any place where the light could be activated during night .

So therefore, it would be logical to start with a charged battery. Three alkaline D cells (disconnect the solar panel, and throw away the rechargeables they are useless) would give some months of use before the batteries need replacing.

it might be a waste of time but i feel like you could have a little fun with the transition between you taking the picture of the circuit board. you could say "lets get a better look at this board.. expansion beam: activate!" and then wave your hands and cut to the large photo and act as if you never made a cut.

The worst illness I ever had was some sort of strange 48-hour flu. I had a fever of 104 F (40 C), and I couldn't sleep that whole night because, whenever I closed my eyes, I had these nightmare visions of tunnels of strange machinery or horror-movie tree roots.

How long will it last in rainand sun? 2 years? I want to buy a lamp like this, but I want it to last at least 5 years to put on a grave.. I found a lamp like that but in stanless. How can I modify so it last + 5years? Change the battery to capacitors? Is only need give lights 2 hours per night.

I thought Grundig didn't exist anymore, (at least the one that make radios).

This is also being sold as the "Everbrite" brand in the USA, among other names.
*BEWARE,* there are numerous reports of these catching fire!
Waterproofing is poor, and it seems that the lithium 18650 batteries are exploding. Interesting that this one has NiMh cells!
