Dam I only just saw this – I dont suppose there were any time machines at the event?
Saw you there, would have said hello if I could have got my daughter away from the Johnny5 soaking her… it was a great day and think it warrants a bigger venue for next year… I didn't even manage to get onto the tall ship to see the stalls on there.
Clive I'm gonna try and make this fayre. My question is, how would you like to do an autopsy video on a failed inductor heater tool for the automotive trade. Diagnosis is beyond my tinkering abilities. Ps. It's in a briefcase sized box, if its too big to take back to the island I'll gladly have it back later on, at the anticipated Edinburgh meet.
Mini ductor 2
What doe's all that do?
Doe's it make popping, sizzling and boom noises? xD
If only I could. Maker Fair in Scotland, my 2 most favourite things.
Presumably if it's a Mini Maker Faire then Big Clive will fill it all on his own?
Clive! I have something that may or may not interest you. A failed NPN induction sensor! Maybe you'd like to make a video on how induction sensors work, and try and take this thing to bits? It seems pretty solid, however. I haven't a clue how it failed. It was on a 3D printer, and stopped working abruptly. The LED on top works, but it doesn't actually trigger.
You know you have a community section on your channel?
I wanted to ask if there would be a new video out this weekend on YouTube, have you a twitter?
What's the appeal of "maker faires"? It's just people blindly soldering premade kits or creating novelty junk (wall-avoiding arduino bot #9569954).
is there a height restriction at the mini maker fair ???.
Ey, I'm helping out a local mini maker faire today! Unfortunately the one i'm going to is in the states, but it's cool to know they are everywhere!
Hey Clive, just taken delivery of my very own disco ball/eye chopper based on your review. It's pretty good, you need thick skin to catch the blighter though & the cats think it's a weird Terminator bird come from the future to exact revenge for this years fledging casualties.
