Hello Bigclive! Sorro to reach out through here, but haven't found another way to do so!
I’m trying to find a way to place a 5000 mAh battery outside of the iPhone 5s case, and perhaps altogether removing the internal one if needed.
The battery outside is taken from an external battery pack and off course has it’s own charging circuit (also want to be able to charge it with a regular micro USB). I would assume that just connecting the + and minus output from the external battery to the + and – of the iphone battery connector would probably not work, but I could be wrong.
What you do think? Is there a way to accomplish this? I saw somewhere someone had installed a second battery outside of the iPhone, drilling a little hole in the back cover and passing the wires into the phone and paralleling the batteries… but I can’t find the page again! Your advice will be greatly appreciated; I love the phone and with a bigger battery it will be perfect! Thanks! Pedro, Tarifa, Spain
