Another dangerous mains voltage rechargeable camping light that has high risk of fatal electrocution due to inappropriate charging circuitry.
If you have one of these then you're going to have to make a decision about whether it should be destroyed, made safe by blocking the 110V/240V charging port or if you are a technical loner like me then you can acknowledge the risk and just make sure the unit is completely unplugged when plugging anything into the USB port or changing batteries.
Note that using alkaline cells in the base is not a good idea. Especially if plugging the unit in to charge, as they will vent or explode after a random time delay.

The title really made me chuckle
What resistance would one of these have if you performed an insulation test on it?
What is the voltage of the battery pack
It kind of highlights the importance of earth leakage measurements in electrical safety tests rather than just being content with insulation tests and earth bonding. Your video also shows the naivity of having un-polarised mains plugs: at least with polarised plugs, there would be a 50% chance that the USB chassis would connected to Neutral. With 2 pin mains plugs, who knows where the live connection is on the appliance (who else knows if various National electrical authorities actually care?) . Thanks for the video: I am off to test all my USB chargers and PSUs etc for earth leakage.
I absolutely love the way Dalek R completely breaks character with that shocked "O-oh." Like yeah, killing humans via battery change is pretty fuckin nasty lmao
โWhere is your Quota?โ – what Trash Bins say.
why there are no good expensive quality flashlights like this. actually expensive narrow beam flashlights exist, but no anything that can help with Ukrainian power outage problem, so i have to diy things with led strips
:O Didn't know Daleks even wore underwear…
Using some ideas I gained from your video I made and extremely bright led task light with a magnetic base that doubles as a power switch. I have a steel beam jib boom in my garage and it covers most of the garage by pivoting, when I stick the light to the jib it turns on. Now that I've described it, it occurs to me a push button sticking through the bottom where the magnets are would be more reliable on painted surfaces, rather than using the magnets to conduct current.
Thank you for inspiring me
Stupid
Gay Daleks? Wait, did Victor Lewis Smith get a writing credit?

Assuming this was purchased in the UK, how is it that we are allowing the import of these things?
Well a lovely five year old video on my feed
