Open competition for a VERY limited edition kit (just 10 being made) with an unintentional review of the Dirty PCB and Seeed studio PCB prototyping services.
For a chance to win the kit just leave any comment down below. The rest of the kits are a way to thank the channels PayPal and Patreon supporters who make a huge contribution to the channel by providing a layer of security against YouTube shenanigans and also allow me to be less restrictive about the type of content I put out without worrying about upsetting advertisers. It's all just a little bit ruder, more dangerous and fun as a result.
I'm already sending random things at random times to random PayPal and Patreon supporters, and this will continue.
These little tree kits are really nice to build and look great. I've done all the hard work for you by making the pre-crimped stems and stripping the ends ready for use. The kit includes everything you need except a soldering iron, pair of side cutters and a USB power supply. These kits will draw about 150mA on a 5V supply.
The prototype PCB sites I used to get the batches manufactured were:-
http://www.dirtypcbs.com/store/pcbs
and
http://www.seeedstudio.com/fusion_pcb.html

lol. "bandoliers"
what changes would need to be made to use more than one LED per position?
I wonder if a person could use lacquered coated solid core wires instead of insulated wires for a different effect?
Rite Big Dude! I don't suppose you have one of these lying around that I could purr-chase by any chance do you? If not why not I soo want one😁 Nowt wrong with bent fingers being rammed in, yeah took that way out of context!!! Always late to party's, keep the part rolling Wonderful Dude. TFS, GB 🙂
I have been using Aisler (out of Germany) for several years now. They're not the cheapest and don't have so many options, but always good quality and worldwide shipping is included.
Also, you can use KiCAD files.
when I worked for this company I was running a EUBANKS 9100 wire machine cutting and stripping and marking MILES of wire every day. also running AMP and MOLEX crimping machines . with the FLYWHEEL and solenoid die. loved that job
you ever do any vids on American auto 12VDC lights? I used to work for a company called {INSIGHT ELECTRONICS} in NRLSON B.C . and we built auto lights. daytime running lights and signal control modules. PWM dimming for DOME light . we used PIC based chips and the square leds with a wide angle, if you ever do A vid on dc auto lights let me know
I AM WORKING ON A PCB PROJECT1!! Trying to decide between dirtypb, JLCPCB, etc. for prototype level 2 layer boards! Would be great to see what kind of stuff you got from them! Enter me in the freeby tossup! Thanks!! And if I don't win, I am always a winner whenever I get to watch another one of your wonderful informative new videos. Love ya bud! (no homo)
Any comment whatsoever.
Seriously, I learned soldering tricks form you. 😊
A comment
I'm too late ehh big guy? Hahahahha
That's really nice clive. I've been doing something similar with clear glue sticks only not even 1 percent as refined as you
Here's my official entry
Another one working straight off the assembly line!
And my rude word is. ..
"Covid"
Great video Mr…
Can you send me some video or links to the Xenon lights you mentioned… I really tried very hard to find the Xenon Arc Line/ArcLine/Arcline by mood/mold/moud/mould/moode and all manner of other spellings/namings I could muster from Clive's accent…
Which, admittedly, I am absolute horseshit at translating! I assure, your accent and language are perfectly fine, my brain is the issue. Sometimes, your words make perfect sense to my brain, but then there's certain times where my brain just combines a bunch of words together, and all I can decipher is, "XenonArclime bimoode" which might make sense, but I'm pretty sure my brain is just fucking with me again! 🧠 🔥
Dang I know this is an old video but I would love to buy this kit. I wish this was for sale somewhere.
