I love quack products, and this is quite an intriguing one. It claims to use electrical current to draw all the impurities out of your body and down into a tub of water via your feet.
In use you sit with your feet in a tray of water with a disposable liner (for staining reasons), and a special detox electrode is placed in the water next to your feet. A wristband may be connected to your arm or possibly a pad to your neck, with the theory being that a small electrical current flows between there and your feet to help flush out your body toxins. In reality the pads or wristbands are either doing nothing or are acting as simple sensor to detect when you actually have your feet in the water.
You sit there for about 30 minutes while the water your feet are in gradually goes brown and yukky as all the toxins from within your body are pulled out.
But in reality the brown sludge is being generated by the controlled DC electrolysis of the electrodes reacting with the ordinary table salt in the water. The results are then analysed using a colour chart to determine exactly what was purged from your body.
After your expensive pampering you leave to go to the nearest coffee shop, feeling wonderful because your body has been cleansed of impurities. Job done.

You can easily test the water. But I guess that's too difficult. A heavy metal test is easy to afford. It works on the same principles as a sauna but with an electric current pulling things out.
I know most of the muck is the reaction with the salt but I'd try it once more with your feet in it.
    Test the Black flakes.

Did you do ear candling? That’s another bogus

My mom gave footbaths for a living and she genuinely thought they worked. I know because she wanted me and my sister to try them out and I felt cleaner afterwards. My brain was bamboozled, but at least I felt cleaner. That's the whole idea of it isn't it?

I know that you were a colloidal silver nerd and gave it up because all the cool kids were making fun of you. But having tried a non conventional treatment and stuck with it, makes you a cool kid, to me at least.
Anyway i suspect that the positive testimonials people are experiencing in the comments and elsewhere, despite the electrode chromium nickel toxic muck, is due to the hydrogen and oxygen nanobubbles. It has been proven in numberous studies that getting pure hydrogen into your system, aids detoxing, boosts antioxidant ability. Also you get it in nanobubble form which is much more effective, along with the oxygen, albeit the hydrogen escapes much more rapidly then the oxygen, but there still is some. Now a perfect way to do it, if anyone has a solutioni, of a non corroding electrode, something like gold, platinum, palladium. I heard stainless 316L does not corrode, so that should be tested as well.

Have you tried distilled water?? I am curious. Distilled water/pure water is Non-conductive. Curious if it would turn color with distilled??
I’m wonder the color is the iron content in the tap water.
