It's a while since I've taken an LED night light to bits, so here's a rather attractive one that is perfect for modification with your choice of LED colour.
As I mentioned, here's a general search link for ebay.com for finding bags of cheap LEDs that are perfect for experimentation.

And here's a search link for an LED tester for instant gratification.

I've been watching your videos quietly for a while now. I must say I really love the rugged unedited and raw footage you bring out it's really quite informative, and inspiring. I was given an Arduino for Christmas and I've been playing around with that, perhaps I can make something new someday!

In Holland we talk about "het stopcontact" instead of the mains, directly translated the wallsocket.
Sometimes more technical people also call it tweeveertig or driezestig aka 240 or 360.

Reference to household power as "mains" is just proof that electrical work is just fancy plumbing 😆

I wonder if the pink version has a pink tinted filter to shine a pink coloured light onto the flowers? Next question, could you install a colour changing LED instead? Or would that upset the balance of current flow in the circuitry?

So, anyway, Clive, are you a bear, or a panther? – Panther, as in 'pink' – Bear, as in 'brown'. . . . . .

I wonder if combining warm white LEDs with orange LEDs in a package makea it more rich in color…

In my experience with Chinese E-bay sellers, if you include a message with your paypal transaction and request a specific color, usually they will send you one of that color, even if the listing does say random choice it doesn't hurt to ask.

re cheap goot wick off ebay, the stuff I get is either the real thing or a perfect clone of the real thing, it comes in little printed plastic packets with instructions and warnings in perfect english, correct part/model numbers, links to the .jp website etc. I mostly use one of those spring loaded click-and-suck desolderers cos I always had problems with wick, it just never seemed to work very well but goot wick is really goot. idk what the difference is, whether its the weave, the flux or what but its good to have an alternative to the clicker

and 10-15 red leds for my circuit 🙂
