Well it had to be tried. The USB powered water atomiser loaded up with kerosene instead. It produces a good plume from the kerosene and it does sustain flame albeit a bit randomly.
I also tried isopropanol, but it seemed to struggle to atomise it, and the resultant stream did not readily support a flame.

If you use gasoline, it will stay lit. It's been done by another youtuber. Skill Make.
Hehe Nice!
Have you tried it around mosquitoes?
I have some spare kerosene, and I was thinking, โwhat would Clive do?โ And now I know. ๐ณ
VOC content: 100%
Use ethyl ether
Now try with gasoline ๐
Love your videos, but quite frankly, sometimes you worry me.
Add a hollow metal ball between carb and intake manifold atomizes and vaporizes gas doubles gas mileage and cleans up emissions this is how Poque did it
Hm, this did not end in sudden excitement, didn't it?
awesome………
Try it with petrol ๐
I have a feeling the atomization of the fuel also cools down the vapour quickly. It must also be a fair insulator. This video is years old though.
title like this -> ilke
All it needed was a collar around the base of the jet to limit airflow slightly.
Does all isopropyl alcohol contain water..as we seem to get in UK
needs sparker across the output
It needs a metal tube about 30mm wide placed vertically above the bottle leaving enough room for combustion air to enter at the tube bottom, the tube contains the heat and allows the flame to self sustain, similar setup to my homemade used oil burner for heating workshop, it will burn nearly any fuel that can be turned into a mist
