A 470 microfarad capacitor, let's apply five amps through it with the wrong polarity and see what happens its swelling. It's exploded and spewed its guts.
You're going to be finding capacitor innards in that room for the rest of your life at this rate, lol… On another note, I'm not entirely sure why I find these as entertaining as I do. But if you happen to find a large tantalum laying around, that might be fun to watch.
I'd love to see this done with one of those car audio 2F (and greater) caps.

I used to work in an electronics factory and occasionally boards would go through the line with a capacitor reversed. This was decades before automatic pick and place machines became commonplace. The result always got laugh when the boards went into their test jigs.
Perhaps a christmas tree decorated by electro's going boom, boom, pause, boom boom, fizz, boom…etc.?
In jurisdictions where fireworks are outlawed, would that include capacitors? 🤔

I hate that youtube is pushing shorts, but these, these I enjoyed. They didn't feel like you'd made the effort of making a 'short', more just, "Hey nerds, check this", and it works.
